Our company was founded by my Father, Marlo Sonnenberg, who in 1964 started a small auto repair shop. 45 years later we stock an average of 75 units on our lot for sale, specializing in one-owner and lease-returned vehicles. We also rent our vehicles with the option to buy, if that is your preference.
Every vehicle sold at Marlo Motors must pass a rigorous 20 point inspection. Our cars don’t just look good... they’re good cars.
Each and every qualifying vehicle we sell is backed by a 7,500 mile / 6 month power train warranty at no charge. * The warranty is offered thru a national company, enabling our customers to have work performed anywhere in the U.S.
We have a large service department on site, so we are able to service what we sell. Our mechanics are well schooled in troubleshooting, and perform general maintenance services as well as repairs to your vehicle. Our philosophy is to fix it right the first time. As an added convenience, we offer Service Rentals while your vehicle is in our shop.

In 1995 Marlo Motors was named 'Quality Auto Dealer of the Year' by the Minnesota Independant Automobile Dealer's Association. This is the absolute highest award a dealership can receive in the industry.
The Minnesota Independant Automobile Dealer's Association represents roughly 2,700 used car dealers in Minnesota. Marlo Motors has been a charter member and is involved in the State Level of the Northland Independant Automobile Dealer's Association, (NIADA)
